(Sub)Urban Sketching at Sequoyah

In Mod 1, Urban Sketching was offered to Sequoyah high school students as a Z Block class taught by Aimee Zvinakis. Urban Sketching (USK) is the practice of sketching your environment. Students were given sketchbooks, pens, and watercolor kits and were tasked with one sketch a day. Many students chose to sketch the Sequoyah Campus, The Gamble House, and places near their homes. Each student was able to develop drawing-from-observation skills, which shines through in their work.

Below is a showcase of work from students in the class.
